Kay (Neishih) Boyd and Katia Duvall, both natives of Lima, Peru, had the vision of recreating these scrumptious delicacies by taking them to a gourmet level, without losing the original values from the recipes passed down by their mothers (both of whom were involved in the food business in Peru.)
